Insieme per lo SPORT!
UniTrento e Rugby Trento riconoscono l’importanza di supportare studenti-atleti nella loro dual career di sportivi e studenti, obiettivo riconosciuto anche a livello internazionale, come testimoniano le “EU Guidelines on dual career of Athletes” (2012):
"Athletes often face challenges to combine their sporting career with education or work. The aim to succeed at the highest level of a sport demands intensive training and competitions at home and abroad, which can be difficult to reconcile with the challenges and restrictions in the educational system and the labour market. Not only high levels of motivation, commitment, resilience and responsibility from the athlete, but also special arrangements are needed to avoid the situation where talented and elite sportspeople are forced to choose between education and sport or work and sport";
- UniTrento supporta da anni la dual career degli studenti-atleti attraverso programmi come TOPSport e TOPTeam
- UniTrento intende promuovere nuove forme di partnership con le società sportive, in concomitanza con la revisione del programma TOPTeam e della relativa introduzione di due fasce (GOLD e SILVER) a cui corrispondono differenti tipologie di collaborazione
- Rugby Trento si occupa della disciplina del rugby e ha una formazione che gareggia in serie B nella stagione sportiva 2023/2024 in cui militano diversi atleti interessati agli studi universitari
- Rugby Trento intende incentivare la conciliazione tra sport e studio e migliorare la propria attrattività verso atleti in età universitaria
- è desiderio delle parti collaborare sul tema della dual career
